Abstract

The influence of the zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles on the properties of the biocoatings obtained by micro arc oxidation (MAO) method was investigated. Modification of calcium phosphate (CaP) coatings using ZnO nanoparticles was carried out by impregnation in the suspension with ZnO nanopowder and distilled water. The modified coatings deposited on titanium substrate under 200 V have X-amorphous state. X-ray reflexes relating to the crystalline phases of titanium and zinc oxides were observed. It was shown that increase of ultrasonic treatment duration of suspension with ZnO from 10 to 60 min leads to more uniform distribution of ZnO nanoparticles and decrease of zinc content in the coating from 2.8 to 1.5 at %.
