Influence of Learning Strategy, Learning Style, Practical Facilities, and Media Learning on Learning Outcomes of SMK Students

Abstract

This research is an expostfacto research that aims to explain the influence of learning strategies, student learning styles, practice facilities, and media learning towards the learning outcomes of SMK students. This study was conducted for 3 months from April to June 2019. The research methods used are quantitative research methods. The population in this research is the students of SMK in Indonesia both from class X, XI, and XII. The data collection techniques used by researchers in this research are by spreading polls or questionnaires. This research samples a total of 337 students. Data processing in this study used the program SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) version 22 using the test of normality, test linearity, and multicholinerity test. Analysis of the data used is the analysis of regression and correlation with error status 0.05. The results of this study are as follows. 1) A total of 51.04% of students argued that the learning strategy in SMK is medium-category; 65.58% of students have medium-category learning styles; 53.71% of students believe that mediumcategory practices, 47.18% of students argue that medium-category learning media; and 62.31% of students have scores in very high category reports. 2) There is a positive and significant influence between learning strategies on their learning outcomes (rx1y = 0.735; p < 0.005); There is a positive and significant influence between student learning styles on learning outcomes (rx2y = 0.567; p < 0.005); There is a positive and significant influence between practical means of learning outcomes rx3y = 0.222; p < 0.005); There is a positive and significant influence between learning media and learning outcomes (rx4y = 0.735; p < 0.005); There are positive and significant influences together between learning strategies, learning styles, practice tools, and media learning outcomes (RX1, x2, X3, x4, y = 0.749; p < 0.005).
