The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of learning resources on students’ academic performance in Biology in Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State. To obtain this purpose, three null hypotheses were formulated to guide this study. Literature review was done based on the variables of the study. Survey research design was adopted for the study. A sample of three hundred (300) respondents were selected for the study. The selection was done using simple random sampling technique; this was to give every respondent equal and independent opportunity of being selected. Influence of Learning Resources on Students’ Academic Performance in Biology Questionnaire (ILRSAPBQ)was used to measure the availability of learning resources, utilization of learning resources and gender differences while the Biology Achievement Test (BAT) was used to measure students’ academic performance in Biology. Pearson Correlation and independent t-test were used as statistical tools for testing the hypothesis at 0.05 level of significance. The results showed that there was a relationship between available learning resources and students' academic performance in Biology; there was a relationship between utilization of available learning resources and students' academic performance in Biology; there is no difference between the mean score of male and female students in terms of level of academic performance in Biology. It was recommended that students should be encouraged to make use of available learning resources like the textbooks in the library and laboratory apparatus.
