• With soil cultivation the profound changes are occurring in topsoil fabric. • Differences between natural and cultivated soils humus cover classifications. • Majority of soil cover properties are perceptible in cultivated areas humus cover. • Equivalence of arable humus covers with humus horizons subdivisions is treated.
