Abstract

In this paper we examine the effects of varying ion temperature with constant electron temperature on the Lyman-alpha intensity ratios for a small admixture of hydrogenlike ions in a high-temperature plasma. We investigate the ratios with increasing central electron temperature, change in base plasma, and increasing nuclear charge, Z, of the impurity ion.
