Abstract

Abstract The temperature dependence of remnant polarization in Pb(Zr1-xTix)O3 (x = 0.00-0.05) solid solutions was measured for various values of hydrostatic pressure. It was confirmed that the transient ferroelectric phase vanishes for p > pc . The value of pc depends on Ti concentration in the solid solution. From the linear pressure dependences of the phase transition temperatures between P F and F A phases the values of the derivatives dTPF /dp and dTFA dp were determined, respectively. The influence of hydrostatic pressure on the thermodynamic stability of the A, F and P phases was considered from the point of view of the thermodynamic theory of phase transitions.
