Abstract
Referring to the relevant parameters of UHV demonstration project, aiming at the three-phase grounding fault of UHV transmission line with hybrid reactive power compensation, the changes of open current and transient recovery voltage are analyzed by numerical calculation and simulation. Based on the arc extinguishing mode and arc extinguishing medium of circuit breaker, the evaluation index of circuit breaker caustic scale is proposed. Based on the equivalent model of three-phase grounding fault of UHV transmission line, the calculation formula affecting the breaking performance of circuit breaker is derived, and the effects of fault location, hybrid reactive power compensation degree and other factors on the interrupting characteristics of three-phase grounding fault circuit breaker are analyzed.
