Abstract

This paper introduces the guide rail error and analyses the influence of the guide rail error on the machine tool. Several common measuring and error compensation methods are introduced. To reduce the error of machine tool guide, researchers need to have a full understanding of it, and then take appropriate measures to reduce this error, so as to achieve the purpose of improving the machining accuracy. In this paper, through theoretical analysis, the variation trend of guide rail contour error is obtained, which is verified by laser interferometer, and the appropriate position is selected for error compensation. After the test verification, the test proves that the compensation method can effectively compensate the model rail error.
