Abstract

Organisations are constantly seeking new ways of improving workforce productivity for which they are focusing on maximizing their investment in people. Talent management forms an important part of Human resource Management in this respect. It is a well-built finding that those Organizations will have a significant competitive advantage which support for managing the talents of the people in a positive way. With a view to understanding the talent management components at MCF and also whether age and gender of the employees play any important role in influencing the talent management practices a study in the relevant area was taken up. The findings state that the Talent management practices at MCF are transparent with no influence casted by age and gender and employees seem to be happy with the talent management components and practices. With a view to make the talent management a productive exercise, open communication channels that inform the employees regarding the practices in the organization helps in making them aware of the present talent management strategies along with future challenges and opportunities in the relevant spectrum.
