Abstract

Analyzing the influence of different galvannealed process parameters on coating corrosion resistance of high strength IF steel indicated that corrosion resistance rose with the increase in iron content. Corrosion resistance was related to the phase structure of coating and the fraction of different phases. The appearance of compact Γ 1 phase indicated the great increase in coating corrosion resistance. At the same galvannealed time, coating corrosion resistance became better with the increase in the galvannealed temperature.
