L'inoculation de calcium aux pommes a la recolte permet d'augmenter la resistance vis-a-vis de l'infection par Penicillium expansum, en fonction du degre de maturite. Par contre le developpement de maladies physiologiques est fonction inverse du stade de maturite a la recolte
