Abstract
Dust and aerosole in the size range between 0.1 and 1 μm are very difficult to separate. The conditioning and collection of aerosols in fluidized beds is a new process with interesting technological possibilities. With appropriate settings collection efficiencies up to 98% may be reached. The smallest particles up to 50 nm are collected completely.
