Abstract

The influence of finite Larmor radius (F.L.R.) on the gravitational instability of a finitely conducting rotating plasma has been studied. The effect of Hall current has also been included. It is found that Jeans’ criterion remains unchanged in the presence of F.L.R., rotation, finite conductivity and Hall current effects.
