Abstract
The effects of organic and mineral fertilization on the main chemical components in fruit are influenced by several factors related to the environment, plant and cultural technology. To quantify these relationships with regard to the effects of 4 fertilization treatments on some chemical components in Golden spur apples, some investigations during 1983 - 1987 were carried out. Golden spur cv. was grafted on MM 106 and seedling. The data indicated that the values of calcium contents in fruit were very significantly positive correlated (r = 0.853 +++ ) to the values of rainfalls in May (1983 - 1987), distinctly significant negative (r = -0.596 ++ ) to the values of temperature in August and significantly negative to fruit weight. The values of nitrogen concentration in fruit were very significantly positive (r = 0.881 +++ ) correlated to the mean value of rainfalls in April - June period (1984 - 1987) and very significantly negative (r = - 0.902 +++ ) correlated to values of temperature in August (1984 - 1987). The values of phosphorus contents in fruit were very significantly negative (r = - 0.767 +++ ) correlated to monthly mean values of temperature in August - September (1983 - 1987), and the values of potassium content were very significantly positive (r = 0.847 +++ ) correlated to values of rainfalls in May (1983 - 1987). There were recorded significant and very significant correlations between the values of N, P, K and Ca contents in leaves and the same compounds in fruit in a year with high fruit yields.
