Abstract

With economic growth and technological development, it is necessary to research the structure of the distribution network to satisfy increasing electricity demand. Feeder links are the key component of the modern distribution network, which is of great significance to the total supply capability (TSC). In this paper, the influence rules of feeder links on TSC are revealed. Firstly, the indices describing the position, scale, and equilibrium degree of feeder links are defined. Secondly, the influence rules of feeder geometrical distribution and feeder link scale on TSC are revealed, the TSC will remain unchanged after reaching a certain value. Thirdly, based on the rules we discovered, the relationship between the value of TSC and different construction orders is revealed, there always exists an optimal construction order of feeder links which can ensure the value of TSC as high as possible in each planning stage. This paper reveals the relationship between the TSC and the topology of a distribution network, which lays a theoretical foundation for the TSC-based distribution network planning method.
