Abstract

Summary. The purpose of the study is - study of sources of domestic and world literature on the problem of pathophysiological disorders of local homeostasis involving mast cells (МC) in purulent long-term non-healing wounds (PLTNHW).
Research tasks — according to the literature, to identify the features of the course of the wound process and the possibility of regulating local homeostasis with the participation of MC in patients with PLTNHW.
Conclusions. Thus, considerable progress has been made so far in understanding the molecular mechanisms of the basic phases of the normal and complicated wound process. A new step towards effective solution of the socially significant problem of surgical treatment of extensive wound defects in PLTNHW is further study of the processes of direct intercellular interaction and selection of tryptase and chymase MC as indicators of the state of the healing process and a target for pathogenetic action.
