Abstract

Hypericum androsaemum L., commonly known in Portugal as tutsan, is a plant species used in folk medicine for its diuretic and hepatoprotective properties [1]. The diverse flavonoids and phenolic acids present in the plant are supposed to be responsible for such biological activities.
