Abstract

Abstract—The article considers the influence of external electric circuits on the work of the collector zone with an nonstationary intense electron beam. It is shown that the presence of capacitance of the collector and inductance of the external circuit under certain conditions can lead to the appearance of large inhibitory voltage values and deterioration of the klystron output parameters. The results of experimental studies are presented.
