Abstract
Research permits refinement of the outline of a low-noise high-efficiency power unit for use in supersonic commercial airplanes of the 2030s. Engines with features that will be feasible by then are considered. The influence of the design parameters of a motor with modified critical nozzle cross section on the outline and effective characteristics of the power unit is studied.
