Abstract

Nowadays, more and more people are starting to drink energy drinks to replenish their energy and stay alert. The author of the article analyzes the effect of energy drinks and various substances included in them, such as caffeine, guaranine, taurine, vitamins of group B, sugar, on the human body from a medical point of view. The article argues that the effect of energy drinks can have a positive effect on a person’s endurance and physical activity, but this effect is short-lived; considering excessive and long-term use of energy drinks, their effect on the human body can be negative in the long term.
