Abstract

Abstract Date Presented 04/02/2022 The aim is to examine whether electronic communication devices (ECDs), assistive technology (AT), and Internet use increases the odds of high social integration (HSI) after tetraplegia injury. A binary logistic regression determined the use of ECD, AT, and Internet increased the odds of HSI by 300% after tetraplegia injury. Prioritizing ECD independence in this population by evaluating and addressing AT needs could significantly improve access to socialization opportunities and participation.
