Abstract

The article discusses the influence of electromagnetic treatment of fuels on the formation of wear resistance of pairs of friction and presents the results of some of our researches in this area. The main purpose of the study is to improve the performance characteristics of fuels by the electrophysical treatment that occurs when passing through an electromagnetic field. We have used the complex for the study of the tribological characteristics of fuels and lubricants, which permitted to make photographs and video of the surfaces in dynamic mode. The presented method of fuel treatment by the electromagnetic field provides the improvement of their anti-wear properties, reduction of the coefficient of friction, receipt of uniform and dense oxide films on the friction surfaces. The research results can be applied in engineering to improve the reliability of parts of fuel systems. The research results can be used by tribologists, chemitologists, as well as by specialists in the sphere of fuel and lubricating systems of ground and aviation equipment
