Abstract

In order to study the effect of dynamic mechanical parameters of the underwater acoustic materials on sound insulation properties, the underwater acoustic materials composed of both viscoelastic rubber with different blend ratio are made. The results showed that dynamic mechanical parameters of underwater acoustic materials have certain influence on the sound insulation properties. In order to obtain better sound insulation properties, the loss factor and the storage modulus are should be optimized. The sound insulation performance of the underwater acoustic materials made in the experiment in the loss fator rang 0.2 to 0.3 and the storage modulus lower than 20MPa is better.
