Abstract

The results obtained in hydrotreating a feed with an end point of 300-320/sup 0/C in a commercial unit showed that when the change is made to the heavier feed, the degree of sulfur removal is lower and the base number of the product is higher, in accord with the data obtained in their studies. The commercial hydrotreating conditions were as follows: total pressure 4.8 MPa, temperature 345/sup 0/C, feedstock space velocity 3.5 h/sup -1/, hydrogen concentration in hydrogen-rich gas 80% by volume.
