Abstract
Enhancing the quality of Doppler signal holds paramount importance for the utilization of Laser Doppler Veolcimeter in velocity measurement of high-speed vehicles, underwater vehicles, and aerial vehicles. This paper discusses the variation of Doppler signal and noise with bias voltage at different temperatures, ultimately deriving the relationship between the signal-to-noise ratio of Doppler signal and detector temperature as well as bias voltage. And a linear correlation is established between detector temperature and optimal bias voltage. Furthermore, A bias control circuit for temperature compensation is designed for maximizing signal-to-noise ratio of Laser Doppler Velocimeter under varying temperatures.
