Abstract
This paper focuses on numerical simulation of instability and mixing in heterogeneous coaxial jets. This flow is highly dependent on momentum, indeed the experimental study of Camano & Favre-Marinet (1994) and the numerical simulation of Reynier & Ha Minh (1994) show that a high momentum ratio between the two jets leads to the presence of a recirculation zone on the axis near the nozzle.
