Abstract

Abstract The results of periodic follow‐up examinations of root‐filled teeth with temporary and permanent restorations were compared. Successful results were observed more frequently in teeth with permanent restorations than in teeth with temporary fillings. The difference, however, was not statistically significant. A firm correlation between the type of coronal restoration and endodontic prognosis could not be established within the observation period.
