Abstract

The article discusses the mathematical modeling of wheeled systems. A feature of the proposed model is the consideration of the deformation processes occurring in the wheel rim. The proposed model is represented by a differential equation in matrix form. This form is convenient for numerical analysis of the dynamics. Numerical modeling has allowed finding a non-trivial nature of the dependence between the magnitude of the angular wheel speed and the linear speed of movement of its center. The article gives the graphs of the speed of movement of an individual wheel rim point explaining this effect. The diagrams demonstrating the effect of external load on deformation processes in the wheel are also shown.
