Abstract

Objective To investigate the influence of community nursing on anxiety and depression in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods A total of 60 patients with coronary heart diseasewere randomly assigned to receive conventional nursing ( 30 patients, control group ), or conventional nursing combined with community nursing ( 30 patients, study group ). Psychological status were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of SAS and SDS were markedly improved in the study group, while they did not differ significantly in the control group ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusions Community nursing can improve the psychological status in patients with coronary heartdisease and make them to live their life actively.
