Abstract

The study describes the effect of presence of chronic stress caused by living in the combat zone, the concentration of secretory IgA in serum and oral fluid of 23 healthy blood donors living in Donetsk during the period of military conflict. It was found that long-term residents in the conflict zone are characterized by a significant decrease in the concentration of secretory IgA in serum and in oral fluid. At the same time, among the aforementioned group of people there is an increase in the frequency of registration of test subjects with the content of the marker <3 mg/l in serum and <200 mg/l in oral fluid, which is not typical for the persons surveyed during the period of peace. A significant correlation of sIgA with the concentration of the marker in oral fluid in both groups is noted.
