Abstract

In our work, channel estimation-oriented access control scheme has been investigated. In the system, each user estimates the channel based on the power which the user receives from other users, and then decides whether to transmit the packet or refrain from transmission with a certain probability. However, each user can not estimate the channel completely. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the influence of channel estimation error. It is found that the throughput performance is influenced by the channel estimation error. It is also found that the throughput performance of the system with the access control scheme is better that of the conventional system even though we consider the channel estimation error
