Abstract

Abstract Present research deals with synthesis, characterization and electroluminescence property of Ce3+ activated SrZrO3 phosphors. The phosphors were prepared by combustion process at different dopant concentration. The prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction technique showed orthorhombic structure of pure SrZrO3. Field emission gun scanning electron microscopy technique was used for surface characterization indicating the formation of micro-sized grains. Electroluminescence property of present phosphors was investigated on undoped and Ce doped samples via changing the applied voltage. Comparison of photoluminescence and electroluminescence properties was performed and emission characteristics were discussed in detail.
