Abstract

In this article, Li2MgTiO4 + x wt% (x = 5–9) CaTiO3 microwave dielectric ceramics with high temperature stability were prepared by solid-state reaction. The crystal structure, microstructure, microwave dielectric properties were discussed systematically as function of x value and sintering temperature. The results show that Li2MgTiO4 and CaTiO3 phases coexist and the content of CaTiO3 phase increases, the dielectric constant increases, quality factor and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency decreases because of the increase of CaTiO3 content. The Li2MgTiO4 + 6 wt% CaTiO3 ceramics sintered at 1210 °C for 4 h show great properties: e r = 18.03, Q × f = 69,022 (at 7.886 GHz), τ f = − 3.03 ppm/°C.
