Abstract

The Kondo lattice model supplemented by the Jahn-Teller distortion is used in order to study the influence of structural distortion on the magnetoresistance. This model is solved for single particle Green's function using an interpolating self-energy approach. The real and imaginary parts of self-energy are used to calculate the electrical conductivity from Kubo formula. It is found that the structural distortion strongly influences the resistivity particularly at the magnetic ordering temperature.
