Abstract

Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by erythema and inflammatory maculopapular lesions. Its cause may be a number of endogenous factors, such as improper functioning of the immune system, genetic predisposition, or vascular disorders, but also external stimuli, such as medications, and dietary supplements, including vitamins. The aim of the article is to describe the effect of B vitamins on the skin and the entire organism, as well as their possible negative impact on the development of lesions typical of rosacea.
