Abstract
The conducted research revealed that first-year students of the medical faculty prefer distance learning and the use of multiple-choice testing on an electronic educational platform when studying the course "Bioorganic Chemistry." Meanwhile, traditional classroom sessions without visual aids and open-ended questions showed the lowest performance indicators. However, students mentioned that they most effectively assimilate the educational material during such sessions, while also acknowledging the positive impact of quality visual aids on comprehension. Based on the obtained results, it is recommended to continue developing a question bank and utilizing the electronic educational platform with multiple-choice testing, but with modifications to the tasks and variations in test parameters. The research indicates that students perceive the use of technology and interactive teaching methods positively, which provide a more flexible learning environment and the opportunity for independent study. The research findings can be valuable in curriculum development and improving the quality of the educational process. Furthermore, it is worth considering the possibility of implementing a wider range of interactive teaching methods and utilizing modern technologies that foster active student engagement in the learning process.
