Abstract

The traction power supply system is an important part of the electrified railway, which transfers the electric energy of the power system to the electric locomotive to complete the traction operation. In this paper, the typical components of the traction power supply system are modeled by PSCAD/EMTDC, and the V/v connection traction transformer CRH3 traction power supply system is simulated and analyzed, and the self-impedance of the conductors combined and the self- and mutual impedance of the remaining conductors are obtained through circuit theory. and the accurate calculation method of the mutual impedance between the remaining conductors and the combined conductors, which provides accurate electrical parameters for building the simulation model of the traction network. Electrical analysis requirements for traction power supply systems. Steady-state and transient analysis of the electrified locomotive were carried out by using the established model, and two different arc black-box models were introduced to simulate and analyze the off-line overvoltage of the pantograph and catenary, and to study the factors and influences of prolonging the life of the pantograph and catenary.
