Abstract

The rates of ion exchange in an acid zirconium phosphate in the presence of different sodium salts solutions and the diffusion coefficients were found to increase in the sequences I−<Br−<Cl− and ClO4−<NO3−<SO42− ClO4− < NO3− < SO42− ; this phenomenon was explained by different mechanisms of defect formation.
