Abstract

Rationale: Traditional infant formulas have been produced without synbiotics and with lipids from vegetable sources that are devoid of an MFGM fraction, but dairy technology now has made the addition of synbiotics and bovine MFGM technically feasible,which could allow to mimic the properties of breast milk.
