Abstract

In order to study the temperature field distribution and its influencing factors of converter transformer, and explore the influence of oil flow velocity and internal structure on the temperature rise of converter transformer, this paper builds a simplified two-dimensional model of converter transformer based on finite element method. Besides, this paper simulates the multi fields coupling distributions of magnetic field, fluid field and temperature field and discusses the relationship between fluid field and temperature field. At the same time, the relationship between different axial oil passage width and winding temperature rise is also studied. The influence mechanism of different factors on the temperature field of converter transformer was analyzed. The research results have made great significance to improve the heat dissipation structure of converter transformer and solve the overheating of winding temperature rise.
