Abstract

The impact damage process and residual tensile strength after impact of laminated composites are analyzed by the whole-process analysis method and 3D progressive damage theory. The influence of impact energy, impact tup, composite materials, and ply orientation angles on the impact damage and residual tensile strength of laminated composites are researched, which provides the guidance for the structure design resisted impact of laminated composites.
