Abstract

The results of a study of the effect of using a heat shield in a quartz resonator-thermostat on the temperature instability of the frequency of a thermostated quartz generator on a three-dimensional temperature-dynamic model of a resonator-thermostat are presented. The model takes into account a complex design and physical factors that affect the generation frequency. Examples of calculating the temperature field in the elements of the resonator-thermostat and the results of calculating the generated frequency under normal conditions and at the extreme values of the range of operating ambient temperatures are given. Conclusions about the effectiveness of the use of the heat shield are made.
