Abstract
The fuzzy addition on the fuzzy real line due to Hutton (1975) has been investigated by Lowen (1983), Rodabaugh (1982) and Wang (1988). In this paper we introduce the notion of infinite sums on the fuzzy real line, give a necessary and sufficient condition for an infinite sum to be convergent and discuss some properties of the α-cut of infinite sums.
