Abstract
Infiltrative optic neuropathies represent a subset of optic nerve disorders characterized by the infiltration of cells derived from inflammatory, infectious, or tumor metastasis sources. These conditions pose significant challenges in terms of diagnosis, management, and prognosis due to their diverse clinical presentations and potential for rapid progression. Detailed ophthalmic examinations such as visual field testing and optical coherence tomography (OCT) are necessary to provide valuable insights into the structure and function of the optic nerve. Additionally, brain and orbital magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are essential for detecting infiltrative lesions and assessing the extent of optic nerve involvement.
