Abstract
The paper reports on in-flight experiments with different multisensor piezofoil-arrays on a laminar wing glove. The piezofoil measures fluctuations of surface forces. By employing a compact high speed digital measurement system, it was possible to carry out flight tests concerning laminar-turbulent transition with a 48-sensor array on a motor-glider. The first array was primarily used for the detection of transition location and dynamic effects during transition, while the second array was aimed on measuring the expansion and development of an artificial excitation induced by a harmonic point source.
