The treatment of one of the possible PCOS complications – infertility – is individual for each patient and couple. Infertility treatment should be started by non-pharmacological means (diet, physical activity), aiming for a weight loss. If this does not help, a pharmacological treatment with clomiphene citrate, letrozole or gonadotropins is induced. Secondary treatment – laparoscopy (invasive procedure). Tertiary treatment – IVF. In all cases, if the patient has a BMI of 25 or more, additional pharmacological treatment with metformin may be given. Aim: to determine the peculiarities of infertility treatment in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Methods: a systematic review of the literature was performed using the PubMed medical database. Selected articles examining the infertility treatment options for PCOS patients. English word combinations were used for search: polycystic ovary syndrome, PCOS, polycystic ovary syndrome infertility, PCOS infertility treatment. Conclusions.
