In Reply .— The Montelukast Study of Asthma in Children (MOSAIC) clinical trial1 is one of the first long-term (12 months of treatment) and large ( n = 994) studies comparing the relative benefit of an oral leukotriene-receptor antagonist (montelukast) and an inhaled corticosteroid (fluticasone) in asthma control in children.
