Abstract

The inferior sinus venosus type of atrial septal defect is rare. It is associated with caudal displacement of the right inferior pulmonary vein and its anomalous connection to the intrapericardial segment of inferior vena cava. We have operated on 3 patients in 3 decades. The operative findings and a technique to correct these anomalies without using prosthetic material are described.
