Abstract

Infectious mononucleosis is a common acute infectious disease caused by Epstein-Barr virus. Due to lack of specific clinical symptoms, the disease is often misdiagnosed. We reported one case of infectious mononucleosis with neck lymphadenectasis as initial symptom, and reviewed the literature regarding to the clinical manifestation, pathogenic diagnosis, antivirus treatment and hormonotherapy.
