Abstract
Cattoir et al. recently reviewed in this journal the emergence of Actinobaculum spp as uropathogens involved on urinary tract infections. 1 Cattoir V. Actinobaculum schaalii: review of an emerging uropathogen. J Infect. 2011; 65: 260-267 Google Scholar Actinobaculum schaalii is an underestimated opportunistic uropathogen and its search is relevant in cases of unexplained chronic pyuria, especially when there is discrepancy between smear microscopy findings and growth results under aerobic conditions. 2 Reinhard M.
